Ircon Ltd. began as a construction company. Founded in Sofia in 1996, it was involved only two years later in the construction of the Inter Expo Center, one of its early milestones. Since then the company has grown into multidisciplinary engineering, while building on the practical construction experience of its early years.

The projects on this website show the breadth of that experience: industrial plants such as the KCM lead plant in Plovdiv and the Baumit plant in Elin Pelin; logistics centres for Lidl, Nestlé and Gorenje; aircraft hangars for Air Sofia and Rose Air, and the hangar for Cougar helicopters at Krumovo; sports halls such as Arena Sofia and Kamchia; public buildings such as Sofia Central Railway Station; bridges in Sofia and Lebanon; and the Telemob 30 mobile tower, used more than 500 times in Bulgaria and neighbouring countries.

Where a client wants a single partner, Ircon Ltd. has delivered projects on a turnkey basis, taking responsibility from design to completion. The hangars for Air Sofia and Rose Air and the distribution centres for Gorenje, Nestlé and Interlogistics were delivered in this way, under the EPCM model.

On other projects Ircon Ltd. works within a wider construction team, as designer, structural engineer or engineering contractor for a specific part of the works, such as the steel structure and façades of the athletics hall at Kamchia, or the façade of the Lidl logistics centre near Kabile.

Since 1996, Ircon Ltd.'s work has rested on the same principles: technical expertise, quality, innovation and long-term professional relationships. Several clients have come back for further work: Ircon Ltd. delivered both phases of Nestlé's distribution centre, and has worked on stores for Fantastico, Kaufland and AIKO over several years.
