Beauty requires diligence, patience and dedication

With this phrase we can summarize the project “AYA Estate Vineyards”, which was officially announced after opening ceremony on September 27, 2025.

It occupies an area of ​​14,000 sq. m. With its definition of an “invisible building” given by the authors of the idea, it follows the natural curves of the terrain and is in complete harmony with the landscape. The façade evokes a vertical cross-section of the terrain and draws inspiration from the sand formations near the town of Melnik. “AYA Estate Vineyards” is a kind of symbiosis between winemaking, art, and spirituality and harmony with nature.

Our role in this long-term project was to upgrade WhATA’s conceptual design into a detailed technical and working design. Over the years, we collaborated closely with the architects from WhATA and the structural engineers at Strukto.

Our responsibilities included the master plan, site infrastructure and installations, road and vertical planning, and winemaking technology (in collaboration with technologist Mr. Lalo Geshev). We also developed the building systems – electrical, plumbing, and HVAC – and delivered a comprehensive Building Information Model (BIM) in Revit.
